One of the most important people in the NFT art world, Beeple, is creating a physical studio for the entire NFT and digital art community. The enormous warehouse is located near Charleston, South Carolina, in the United States. It is being renovated so that the community can use the facility. Beeple revealed the new project and a video showcasing the modifications last week.
Beeple is Giving Back with Studio Announcement
The NFT boom has made the world aware of some outstanding digital artists. One of them is Mike Winkelmann, a digital artist, graphic designer, and animator better known by his stage name Beeple. Beeple has not only made a name for himself in the NFT sector, but he has also greatly elevated his profile in the traditional art world.
He had never sold a piece of art for more than $100 before October 2020. But only a few months later, in March 2021, he fetched an astounding $69 million at a Christie’s auction for an NFT collection titled Everydays: The First 5000 Days. This gained international attention and contributed to the popularization of the term NFT.
Beeple, one of the most valued living artists, now wishes to support the NFT neighborhood. By opening a studio with an emphasis on NFT art, he will achieve this.
The project doesn’t even begin with the studio! Beeple wrote, “extremely thrilled to provide the first sneak peek at just one area of our studio here in Charleston,” in a tweet marking the opening of the facility. This will serve as a platform for both my art and the wider community of digital artists and NFTs.
Last but not least, Beeple Studios’ spectacular second phase of the project has also been given some important hints. The well-known NFT artist predicted that soon there will be news and that “s••t is about to get REAL.”
