For a limited-edition NFT player card release this Halloween, Deadfellaz has partnered up with the sports betting business DraftKings. Notably, 13 professional football players dressed as the Deadfellaz IP will be included on the cards. Additionally, the cards can only be used in Reignmakers Football, an NFT fantasy football game from DraftKings.
About Deadfellaz x DraftKings Halloween Partnership
Draftkings’ newest Halloween release will transform gamers into Deadfellaz characters. Nick Chubb, Jalen Hurts, Alvin Kamara, Kyler Murray, Deebo Samuel, and Matthew Stafford are among the athletes on the list. The remaining players will be revealed later by the company.
There will be a lot of first-ever utilities thanks to the alliance. For instance, NFT holders will have access to gated contests with a Deadfellaz theme and special NFT prizes. They will also have the opportunity to compete for a piece of the $1,000,000 Reignmakers Football prize fund. Finally, starting on October 30, players can use the cards for the Halloween weekend lineup.
The co-founders of Deadfellaz, Betty & Psych, expressed their excitement at working with DraftKings on this collection. “We enjoy establishing connections between the Web3 space and other communities, such as fantasy sports enthusiasts. Through this partnership with Reignmakers, there is a great possibility to innovate and advance Web3 in the fantasy sports market.
On October 25th, the NFT collection will go live on the DraftKings Marketplace.
What Has Deadfellaz Planned for Halloween?
One of the many Halloween activities that Deadfellaz has planned is a cooperation with DraftKings. On Halloween weekend, DEADZONE LA, its largest IRL event, will take place. The Horde will also congregate for the one-night event for a night of live music and art. On October 29, the ticketed event will begin at Skylight ROW DTLA in LA’s Arts District.
