Film producer Donald Kushner has partnered with Forj together with Kushner’s Gumbotron production team. Forj, a subsidiary of Animoca Brands together with Kushner and team are to produce a new metaverse called Cryptosaurs. Kushner’s way of paying tribute to the film that lifted his career the new heights is by launching this web3 project.
What about Cryptosaurs?
The next evolution of dinosaurs is what Donald Kushner’s Cryptosaurs is all about. It will first begin with the NFT drop this Autumn and the Dinosaurs eggs are all mystery boxes with a gene randomiser code that creates very unique Cryptosaurs and the Cryptosaurs can be used in the Play-to-earn games, fine art as well as VR and AR immersive Museum exhibits also available on educational media, graphic novels and as well even a pinball machine.
The exciting part of them all is about the Cryptosaurs and how it will bring to life the visions of the original film, Tron. This is because Cryptosaurs will become the avatar in the Metaverse of web3 project.
When talking about the Cryptosaurs, Donald Kushner had said, ”What we began with Tron, we are continuing it 40 years later with Cryptosaurs. The difference is that in Tron we had one story about one human character in a digital world. In Cryptosaurs, the number of characters, storylines and revenue-producing derivatives we can generate are unlimited. I think Web3 is going to completely rearrange the media and entertainment business.”
