In honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month, FOX Deportes is releasing its first-ever NFT collection. Mexican artist Jiovanny Lopez Alvarez’s sports-themed NFTs make up the collection. The United States’ longest-running Spanish-language sports channel will commemorate its 25th birthday through this NFT collection.
About This Sports-themed NFT Collection
250 limited-edition, randomly created NFTs make up the first collection, Los Primeros (“We Are First”). Each distinctive NFT honors the sports, followers, and places that FOX Deportes has covered since its inception.
The NFTs can be purchased starting today. The collection’s official secondary market will be Rarible. Additionally, today on OpenSea there is an auction of extremely rare NFTs from the collections. For those that collect the FOX Deportes NFTs, a number of benefits become available. Unique artifacts, seats to notable athletic events, VIP access to the TV channel’s events at its Los Angeles studios, and other items are among them.
Carlos Sanchez, the executive vice president and general manager of the network, stated that from its inception in 1996, FOX Deportes has taken great satisfaction in innovation and being the first. With this NFT collection, we hope to involve our devoted audience in our exploration of the emerging Web3 technology.
About FOX Deportes
The oldest Spanish-language sports network in the United States is FOX Deportes, a part of FOX Sports. More than 2,100 hours of live content, including games from the MLS, Liga MX, and the South American World Cup Qualifiers, are available on the TV channel.
The TV network will continue to establish its Web3 presence before the end of National Hispanic Heritage Month. This is due to the fact that it will release Somos El Futuro (“We Are the Future”), Lopez Alvarez’s second collection of NFTs.
