Toy manufacturer Mattel has launched an NFT marketplace where fans can purchase digital memorabilia based on some of the company’s most well-known brands. They are also releasing their new line of NFT Hot Wheels with this. What follows is a deep dive into the market and the forthcoming NFT debut.

The NFT Collectibles Marketplace on Mattel Creations

The California-based firm announced the launch of its Flow blockchain-based NFT marketplace on Mattel Creations on November 21. Mattel claims that the direct-to-consumer channel will not restrict customers from making NFT purchases with cryptocurrencies. Additionally, by next year, Mattel will roll out a P2P trading platform to enable customers to freely trade their digital treasures with one another.

“With the launch of our own marketplace, we can translate iconic Mattel IP into digital art. This is the latest evolution of our digital endeavors, and we look forward to sharing more drops soon inspired by some of the world’s favorite Mattel brands,” said Ron Friedman, Vice President at Mattel Future Lab.

About Mattel’s Upcoming NFT Drop

A lot of popular toys made were created by the world’s largest toy manufacturer. They also hold the trademarks for numerous popular toy lines, including Barbie, Hot Wheels, Fisher-Price, and UNO.

What’s more, Mattel is launching a brand new NFT collection in addition to the ones it has already released for brands like Barbie and Hot Wheels. Specifically, Series 4 of the Hot Wheels NFT garage will be available on the Mattel Creations online storefront. The list features 60 well-known vehicles, including McLarens, Chevrolets, Hondas, Aston Martins, and others. The extra information is that for $25, you can get a pack of seven Hot Wheels NFTs of varying rarities. Those who acquire the most exclusive NFTs can trade for die-cast versions of the tokens.
