New Metaverse Course Announced In Tokyo University

Tokyo University is embracing Web3 with the launch of a course focused on Metaverse. High school students as well as young working adults will be able to take on this course. In fact, the university will even showcase the available positions in Todai Metaverse. Of course, if you pass the course, you will be awarded with a certificate.

Why Is Metaverse Course Being Offered?

The University of Tokyo, or Todai, revealed that they are looking forward to sharing their Metaverse knowledge with this new course. The aim of this course is to help students as well as adults understand how the Metaverse works. The course will operate under the Todai Faculty Engineering and its related graduate schools. 

There are Metaverse experts in place that will be teaching its students the role of Metaverse in the current society. As a matter of fact, the University of Tokyo hopes to find employees trained for the Metaverse.

Officials said this as well, “Thanks to the Metaverse, there could be a way for anyone, no matter their age, gender, socioeconomic status or where they live, to learn about engineering and information science.”

Who is The Metaverse Program For?

Essentially, everyone is welcomed to enroll in this course by the University of Tokyo. More particularly, the university encourages women to join in too as a school representative said, “female students remain underrepresented in university engineering degrees.” 

Meanwhile, students looking for an engineering career can use the Metaverse program to enter. Anyone can check out open positions and even use programs online as well as in real life.
