Bang & Olufsen, a premium electronics brand, will launch The DNA Collection, their first-ever NFT collection, on Web3. On November 17, 2022, a total of 1,925 digital collectibles will be made available. Some of the most recognisable designs from the company will be featured in the NFTs. The renowned Beogram 400 turntable, the Beoplay A9, and the Beolab 90 speakers are included in this.
About The DNA Collection
B & O worked with a prestigious group of Web3 artists to produce a digital collection that is consistent with the look and feel of the company. This comprises the Bang & Olufsen Design Studio, Thomas Lin Pedersen, Shavonne Wong, and Hackatao.
Soon after the open sale, the collectors will disclose after buying their randomly created NFTs. Owners will eventually be able to claim an “art vial” that can be combined with the NFT DNA collection. As a result, their original Bang & Olufsen DNA NFT is changed into a new collectible that features their partnering artists. The project will also include a third phase that consists of a “music vial.” When the original NFT merges with the vial, it receives a musical update. If you feel that is insufficient, there is more! Owners who have combined both vials with their original NFT will get a 3D version of their NFT that is ready for the metaverse as well as token-gated access to buy a limited-edition speaker.
About Bang & Olufsen
Peter and Svend, two electrical engineers from Denmark, redesigned the radio in 1925 by creating The Eliminator at their farm house. The company’s foundation was created as a result of the co-founders’ shared love of invention, experimentation, and development. In other words, the intersection of design and innovation. Fast forward a century, and these principles are still in full force.
