The largest cryptocurrency exchange in the world, Binance, will soon possess some of the rare and expensive BAYC NFTs. Binance revealed a rescue plan for a significant liquidity crisis at a big rival FTX yesterday. Many people are wondering how the “Grail Apes” will be in the company’s numerous NFT wallets now that Binance has acquired FTX.
Valuable Bored Ape NFTs Now With Binance
On November 8th, a non-binding agreement was made between Binance and Sam Bankman-cryptocurrency Fried’s exchange FTX to buy it. Although FTX and Binance have not yet made the exact terms of the agreement public, it is anticipated that Binance will acquire the business.
The NFT portfolio of FTX is large. When attempting to create their own NFT marketplace, according to Twitter user @ howlshot, they brought these. “FTX bought these as a component of an auction to kick-start their NFT marketplace,” they stated. They still have these despite having already sold some.
What will be of these NFTs if and when Binance formally acquires FTX is a topic of much discussion.
NFTs In FTX Wallet
If FTX is bought over by Binance, it will become the owner of some of the most expensive Bored Ape NFTs. Four Trippy Fur Apes, three Solid Gold Fur Apes, a variety of Pizza Apes, and a King’s Crown Ape are among the NFTs.
At this time, 68 ETH is the floor price for a Bored Ape NFT. Some of these have quite uncommon traits, though. For instance, a Solid Gold Fur Ape last sold three months ago for 777 ETH.
Binance will have to decide whether to preserve these valuable Bored Ape NFTs or sell them, which will attract some serious collectors.
