All about the Logo Contest from LooksRare

On June 29th, LooksRare had posted a thread on Twitter about the Logo contest.

The rules to enter the Contest are very straightforward. It says that artists can enter just by tweeting out their artwork with the hashtag #LooksRare by the 15th of July and you will be able to participate. LooksRare also gave advice and that is simply to “get creative”, followed by giving access to their brand logos and various visual assets in the next tweet.

The most exciting part of the competition is of course the prizes and as previously mentioned, the prize sums up to $10,000. The prize rundown goes like this:

1st- $3500

2nd- $2000

3rd- $1,000

4th – 10th- $500 each.

LooksRare will also reward those who reposted the original post for $200 each for 10 people only.

All about Opensea’s rival LooksRare

LooksRare just launched in January of this year, LooksRare is looking strong and becoming the NFT Community’s secondary marketplace of choice. The platform has also seen some decent success ever since launch. As a matter of fact, DappRadar ranks it as 4th NFT Marketplace by trade volume; it comes behind OpenSea sitting at 1, Axie Infinity and CryptoPunks Marketplace.

However not everything that comes out from LookRare is positive as there were some accusations about its sales volume coming from wash trading as the platform rewards traders who use it with native token, $LOOKS. Hence, the accusation. For the latest NFT marketplace updates, check out NFTeller.
